Polycarbonate Skylight

Polycarbonate skylight is a very good choice and cost effective to replace traditional roofing. Despite polycarbonate is produced by the reaction of bisphenol A and phosgene (COCl2), the main advantage of polycarbonate over other types of plastic is unbeatable strength combined with light weight. While acrylic is 17% stronger than glass, polycarbonate is nearly unbreakable. Adding to the advantage, polycarbonate is just one-third the weight of acrylic, or one-sixth as heavy as glass, and the only drawback is that it is more expensive than either acrylic or glass. Other features available including transparency, better insulation properties, fire redundancy, long service-life, etc.

Consumer can choose either polycarbonate solid sheet or polycarbonate hollow / corrugated sheet with a range of thickness. It is usually installed in the area such as car porch and kitchen extension. You can even seen it at the bus stop, information counter, office divider, etc. MARKLON is providing 10 years warranty for its product.
